Sports supplier Umbro said it will drop the name Zyklon from one of its running shoes after Jewish groups complained that the word referred to a deadly gas used by Nazi Germany to kill millions of Jews.
A spokesman said the decision to call the track shoe Zyklon was coincidental, and apologised for any upset it might have caused.
The Nazis used Zyklon B in death camps during World War II.
