Twins adoption case on hold

The British court case to decide the future of American twin girls adopted by a British couple over the internet was adjourned yesterday. It will now be heard in the London High Court on April 2.

Also yesterday Alan and Judith Kilshaw went to the High Court at Birmingham to find out whether they could take twins Kimberley and Belinda back to their home in North Wales or if the girls would remain wards of the court until their long-term future was decided.

The babies were taken into care in January after it emerged their natural mother, Tranda Wecker, had sold them twice for adoption over the internet.
