Ousted Nauru President 'betrayed'

Ousted Nauru President Rene Harris says he feels betrayed by his longtime friend and Finance Minister, Kinza Clodumar, who supported an opposition no-confidence motion against him.

Harris said he intended to remain in politics and would offer his help to the new Government, led by former Speaker Ludwig Scotty.

Nauru's Parliament reopened yesterday for the first time in more than two months after electing a new Speaker.
