A neighbour was caught creeping around in an attic after a couple heard strange noises coming from their bedroom ceiling.
After hearing the eerie noises Jerome Kennedy installed surveillance cameras in his attic, acting on suspicions to protect his wife and baby.
The Pittsburgh resident also noticed flashlights and mysteriousdrill holes.
After playing footage back he soon realised neighbour Robert Havrilla had been crawling through the narrow space carrying a plank of wood.
"It shows him removing a false wall that he engineered, climbing onto my ceiling, above my baby's crib, and he lies on some planks that he put there, in my ceiling," Kennedy told news station KDKA.
"It's just very disheartening to feel violated in this way that somebody can come in and disturb the sanctity of my home. It's extremely creepy," he said.
"The only thing I can assume is he's watching my baby, my wife or myself."
Kennedy contacted the police about the creepy incidents on July 15. He called them back again on July 17, when he had the footage.
