A massive 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck Indonesia, the US United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake struck off the coast of Indonesia's West Timor island at around 8.15am (local time).
The huge tremor struck at a depth of 8.6 kilometres about 100km south-east of Kupang in the sea, but no tsunami warning has been issued for the area.
There are no reports of damage or casualties from the earthquake as of yet.
Just hours before earthquake a smaller 4.7 magnitude tremor hit the northside of the island.
