A French con man who lived the high life in the US by posing as a Rockefeller heir has admitted fraud and faces five years in jail.
Christopher Rocancourt, 35, hobnobbed with the rich and famous and promised investors fantastic returns while demanding cash up front for expenses.
He variously introducedhimself as an international businessman, a movie producer and the son of Sophia Loren.
Rocancourt spent the money on fancy cars, helicopter rides and expensive hotel rooms, and fled to Canada with his wife, a former Playboy model, when found out.
FBI agents found him posing as a Formula 1 driver in British Columbia.
