Brisbane boarding-house fire under investigation

The cause of Brisbane's second boarding-house fire this month may not be known for several days, but investigators have all but ruled out arson.

Five boarders and two visitors escaped injury in the weekend blaze after a nearby resident noticed smoke and flames coming from a window of the two-storey timber house.

Police are still investigating the earlier fire at the Seabreeze Lodge, which claimed three lives.
