An actor who starred as a James Bond villain will appear in a London court today charged with the murder of his wife.
Irvin Allen, who appeared in On Her Majesty's Secret Service and The Spy Who Loved Me, was arrested after the body of 49-year-old Chamlong Allen was discoveredin a lock-up close to their home in west London.
The 196cm star had retired to run the Mr Tasty food stall in Portobello Rd market and his wife's Thai cuisine earned her the local nickname Mrs Tasty.
Allen, who also took roles in Stanley Kubrick's Lolita and The Revenge Of The Pink Panther, lived with his wife and three children in a flat in Ladbroke Grove.
He was arrested shortly after the body was found, is understood to have worked on his market stall for 20 years and married his Thai-born wife 15 years ago.
