The 33-year-old Dutchman has been accused of fraud and forgery by prosecutors investigating complaints from clients who said they paid for, but never received, ownership certificates for their parcels of land.
Veenema, who goes on trial in Amsterdam next month, says he sold plots for around €1500 ($3015) each through the United States-based firm Lunar Embassy.
