Fears are growing for the safety of the missing 17-year-old daughter of a police officer in Shropshire, England, after a man whom she rejected on Valentine's Day was arrested.
Georgia Williams, an RAF cadet and former head girl at school, hasn't been seen since she left home on Tuesday.
Alocal man named as Jamie Reynolds, 22, was arrested at a Glasgow hotel yesterday on suspicion of kidnap.
Katy Lafferty, 17, a good friend of Williams, said Reynolds had been interested in her but Williams had made it clear she didn't feel the same.
Facebook exchanges between the pair show Reynolds asked Williams out about Valentine's Day, but she refused.
In January, Reynolds claimed online he had kissed Williams. Twenty-one days ago Reynolds also revealed his heartache on a social networking website after falling "hopelessly in love with a girl" who had started dating someone else. Williams posted on her Facebook page on April 5 that she was in a relationship with a man called Matthew Bird.
Her boyfriend raised the alarm when she didn't turn up to a music festival in Wolverhampton. Police have searched Reynolds' house.
