30 killed in bus crash in Cuba

Thirty people died and 71 were injured in a crash involving a bus and a truck in Cuba.

The accident occurred near the central Cuban city of Santa Clara when one of the vehicles swerved to avoid an animal crossing the road.

The bus was travelling from Havana to Cuba's second city of Santiago.
