Delta passengers had to sit helplessly as water dripped onto them from the plane's ceiling on a flight from Atlanta to Florida on Friday morning.
Video, filmed by a passenger, captured travellers holding magazines above them in an effort to control the trickle of water.
Flight attendants allegedly didn't addressthe issue until the flight was in its final descent, during which they stuffed napkins into the ceiling to rectify the situation
Passenger Tom McCullough is seen in the video laughing and joking that he plane "is peeing on him" as he uses two magazines to control the dripping water.
"Look at your shorts! You're soaked!" his wife exclaims.
His son, Tommy, tweeted the video Friday morning, adding: 'Hey @Delta, be glad my father is such a good sport about sitting in water for a whole flight.
"Water falling from ceiling onto passengers."

He told DailyMail.com his family was flying from Atlanta on the flight when the ceiling started leaking.
"He sat there for well over an hour, the flight attendants were made aware of the situation before takeoff," McCullough said.
He added that throughout the flight the water was steady and, because the plane was full, no passengers were able to be relocated.
McCullough estimated that at least a half-dozen people were soaked by the flight's end. Flight attendants did not address the issue until final descent, he said.

They fixed it by stuffing napkins in the ceiling above my dad before final descent,' he said.
"But it continued to downpour on multiple passengers behind us for the remainder of the flight."
After the video was tweeted to Delta, the company responded: "That is not OK," and asked for the flight confirmation number so that it could "get this taken care of and escalated."
Delta eventually offered the customer a $100 travel voucher, McCullough said - $1,700 less than the price of the actual ticket.
Meanwhile, Rome-bound passengers on a Delta partner flight operated by Alitalia out of JFK in New York had to be deplaned Friday after sitting for two hours on a 'steaming hot plane' with no air conditioning, according to a tweet by passenger Adam Fertmann tweeted.
Video posted to social media showed travelers desperately fanning themselves with brochures, safety manuals and anything else they could find.
