When Kim Harrison's father Ian passed away last year, he left behind a rare collection of vintage machinery gathered over the majority of his lifetime.
"Most family weekends, while others were going to the beach, ours was trooping up to old wool sheds towing the trailer behind the car
to bring back motors and stuff," says Kim Harrison.
Every single piece of machinery in this collection is in working order.
Next month, Mr Harrison is putting almost all of it up for sale.
"Dad's wish really was that it finds a good home, so that's what we are wanting," says Mr Harrison.
A dairy farmer by trade, Mr Harrison spent much of his spare time restoring old tractors, engines, and other vintage memorabilia.
"He collected anything and everything. He's got an extensive collection of stationary motors, he's also got coins, buttons, bottles, anything and everything that's interesting and old, Ian would collect it," says Dave Hunger, a lifelong friend of Ian's.
The bug wore off on some of the family.
"Both my son and my nephew are now diesel mechanics, they work for a tractor place, and I'm sure that was a direct input of dad's," says Mr Harrison.
Amongst the items up for sale are some real collector's items.
