A whole lot of smiling faces were at Hollard Gardens bringing their big, small or ugly pumpkins, vege creations, vege dishes and scarecrows on April 6.
There were over 60 entries this year in the festival categories not including Aaron Akkerman's 'show piece' pumpkin and a collection of pumpkin varieties contributed for display from Kaponga community gardens.
Judging for all the categories was done by Paul Lander President of Hawera Horticultural Society.
