Due to Covid-19, Stratford Speedway is postponing its race meeting on Saturday March 18.
Club captain Jarrod MacBeth says the decision to postpone the meeting was made with the health and safety of competitors, staff, volunteers and spectators in mind.
"As the dynamics of the Covid-19 virus are changing daily and sometimes more frequently, we will monitor the situation going forward on a meeting by meeting basis."
He says the team are working through the logistics to run at least one more race meeting within the government's guidelines prior to the scheduled end of the season.
"We are sure that we can make this happen. However, with the dynamics constantly changing, anything can happen at any time."
