The 2013 Bikes, Blues & Hot Cars festival (BBHC), an event that originated in the United States of America, came to New Zealand last week, choosing the Taranaki region as its base.
While the BBHC headquarters were at the Pukekura Raceway & TSB Stadium in New Plymouth for the duration of the event, the organisers also scheduled events in Inglewood and Stratford.
On Thursday, more than 250 motorcycles and cars made their way along a scenic drive from New Plymouth to Inglewood via Opunake.
Once in Inglewood, the participants parked their vehicles and enjoyed live music from the band Quadraphonic.
The hundreds of spectators who turned up to check out the impressive display of cars and bikes were entertained with a variety of street stalls as well as the live music and even some stilt walkers.
