Artwork came to life at Stratford library last week, thanks to a 3D printing machine and plenty of imagination.
During the first week of Stratford District Council's school holiday programme, 3D printing sessions were held on October 1 at the Stratford Library.
Senior library officer Bridget Roper says, "We have a 3D printer at the library available for the public to use. However, most people don't know how to use it. We thought if we taught the kids they could share their knowledge with their parents and caregivers so they can make use of the printer."
Bridget says the children learnt how to use Tinkercad, a free web-based 3D modelling programme.
"Once they had finished their creations, they sent them to the printer. All the kids really enjoyed it."
