Tennis: Stamp of approval for Kuerten

Brazilian tennis star Gustavo Kuerten is to be honoured with his own postage stamp. The Brazilian postal service announced the move yesterday and the stamp will be issued in July, in Kuerten's home town of Florianopolis, 500km south-west of Sao Paulo.

uerten is the only Latin American to finish a season at the top of the ATP rankings. He won the French Open in 1997 and last year, and had an easy victory in the first round of this year's tournament yesterday.
