American Natalie Coughlin set another world swimming record in New York yesterday, in the women's 100m backstroke at the World Cup shortcourse meet.
Coughlin swam 57.08s to set her second world mark in successive days. She beat the previous best of 58.45s set by Mai Nakamura of Japan this year.
