New Zealand had a successful end to the world junior men's teams squash championships in Pakistan by beating Canada in the playoff for seventh.
Seeded eighth heading into the event, New Zealand beat seventh seeds Canada 2-1 in Islamabad yesterday.
New Zealand No 1 Campbell Grayson had a 9-0 9-1 9-4 win over Robin Clark while No 2 Whaiora Moeke beat Michael Auer 8-10 9-0 9-7 5-9 9-3.
Their loss was registered by Michael Bill, who went down to Keith Pritchard 2-9 4-9 3-9.
It was New Zealand's best placing at the championships in more than a decade.
Pakistan retained their world title with a 2-1 win over Egypt in the final while England beat Kuwait 2-1 to finish third.
