The ACT Brumbies completely destroyed the Queensland Reds 51-8 to cement themselves as the Super 12 frontrunners tonight.
The Brumbies ran in seven tries to one to humiliate the Reds at Canberra Stadium and open up a five-point lead at the top of the points table.
The Brumbies, who have now won
five of their first six games, are on 24 points, followed by the Stormers (19), Bulls (18) and Waratahs (16).
Despite losing to the Crusaders, the Highlanders are still the best placed New Zealand team in fifth place with 15 points.
The Crusaders and Sharks are tied for sixth on 14.
