Tickets for the All Blacks' rugby test against England at Eden Park later this month sold out in 90 minutes today, the Auckland Rugby Union (ARU) said.
A total of 13,500 tickets for the 45,000-capacity stadium went on public sale at 9am via the internet, Postshops and other outlets.
ARU marketing managerGrant McKenzie said there was a queue waiting at Eden Park, including a couple of English fans who had spent the night at the ground in their campervan.
The ARU were was not surprised at the speed with which the tickets were snapped up.
"It just proves the demand to see the All Blacks is huge," McKenzie said.
The match on June 19 is the second of two tests between New Zealand and World Cup holders England.
The first, at Carisbrook in Dunedin on June 12, is also a sellout.
Meanwhile, about 20,000 fans attended the All Blacks trial at Eden Park last night.
