League: Utai faces suspension

Bulldogs winger and Kiwis international Matt Utai has been charged with a grade one dangerous throw during his side's 20-12 National Rugby League win over North Queensland last Sunday.

Utai was placed on report for his tackle on Cowboys winger Matt Sing and faces one week on the sidelines unless he successfully contests the charge.

Utai, who suffered a suspected broken thumb during the match, is the only player to be charged from round 15.
