Five players with Super 12 experience have been named in the New Zealand under 21 rugby team.
Blues second five-eighth Sam Tuitupou, Hurricanes prop Tim Fairbrother and lock Ross Kennedy, Crusaders replacement wing Hayden Pedersen and Southland halfback Jimmy Cowan, who has played for the Highlanders this year in South Africa,are in the squad for the World Cup in England next month.
New Zealand's games are against Japan, France and Australia. The team play a warm-up match against Northland in Whangarei on June 4 prior to their departure. The cup kicks off on June 13.
