New Zealand juveniles are favoured to dominate one of Australia's richest age group series on Sunday.
Kiwi two-year-olds Bella's Boy and Solar Active are hot favourites in their finals of the Australian Breeders Crown in Bendigo.
Bella's Boy made a strong case for favouritism for the A$140,000 ($163,000) colts finalby bolting away with the faster of the two semi-finals at Bendigo on Tuesday night.
And his case firmed further after drawing barrier two yesterday, from where trainer-driver Tony Herlihy is expected to try for an all-the-way win in the 1950m feature.
Canterbury youngster Solar Active is yet to race in Australia as the trotters did not need semi-finals but he is rated a $1.80 favourite for the A$84,000 ($98,000) Trotting Final after drawing barrier one, with his trainer Mark Purdon to take the reins.
But Pukekohe filly Listen To The Rhythm did not fare so well in yesterday's barrier draws.
She has drawn the outside of the second line in the Fillies Final, also worth A$140,000. She will be driven by Herlihy.
