Kiwi Ryan Fox has entered the world's top 80 for the first time in his career after producing his best ever finish at a major yesterday.
Following his tied for 27th place at the PGA Championship, Fox moved up five places in the world rankings to 77th.
"Good to know that maybe not my best golf of the week could still see me finish pretty high in such a big event," Fox told Radio Sport.
"Hopefully my time in one of these big events will come around soon and I can string four decent rounds together".
Fox is taking a three week break as he heads home to spend time with his family.
Dustin Johnson remains the number one golfer in the world with PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka moving up to second.
Tiger Woods, who finished second at the PGA Championship, jumped up 25 places to 26th in the world.
