BERLIN (AP) Hertha Berlin came from behind to defeat Werder Bremen 3-2 and move provisionally sixth in the Bundesliga on Friday.
Hertha striker Adrian Ramos scored twice in nine minutes to cancel out Nils Petersen's 15th-minute opening strike, set up by Aaron Hunt on his 200th Bundesliga appearance.
Bremen defender Theodor Gebre Selassie bundled Per Skjelbred over in the 17th and Ramos duly equalized from the penalty spot, before Skjelbred played the Hertha striker through to score again from a narrow angle.
Hunt equalized four minutes after that, with Peterson returning the favor from earlier to set the Bremen captain up.
Crowd favorite Ronny made it 3-2 three minutes into the second half, tucking away what proved to be the winner from a rebound after Raphael Wolf saved Peter Pekarik's initial header.
