JOHANNESBURG (AP) India's only warmup match for the two-test series against South Africa has been called off because of a rain-soaked outfield in Benoni.
India was due to play a South African Invitational XI in a two-day game on Friday and Saturday at Willowmoore Park.
The first test in Johannesburg starts on Wednesday.
Cricket South Africa said the India squad was able to practice at Willowmoore Park on Friday but a game wasn't possible.
India is bidding to become the first team to beat South Africa in a test series since Australia in early 2009. South Africa has gone 13 series unbeaten.
