Ryan Newman has won his third race of the year, the Chicago 400 Nascar.
The second-year driver, in a Dodge, beat the Chevrolets of Tony Stewart and Jimmie Johnson.
It was Newman's fourth top-five finish in his last six races. He grabbed the lead after Dale Earnhardt Jnr crashed on lap 208,but was pushed hard by Kevin Harvick until, with two laps to go, the two-times race winner ran out of fuel.
Earnhardt Jnr, who entered the race second in the overall standings, finished 38th and fell to third.
