Hockey: Australia makes clean sweep of series

The Australian women's hockey team have beaten New Zealand 3-1 in Hamilton today, completing their series whitewash.

The Hockeyroos, who are the world and Olympic Champions, beat the Black Sticks 4-1 in the first test on Thursday and 5-2 in the second test yesterday.

The Australians were up 3-0 at halftime with goals from Nikki Hudson, Angie Skirving and Kim Walker.

New Zealand's reply came mid-way through the second half with a goal from Penny Munns deflected home a cross from Rachel Sutherland.
