Kiwi golfer Tim Wilkinson has fired an even-par 71 during the second round of the Quicken Loans National at the Congressional Country club in Maryland on the PGA Tour.
After opening with a one-under 70 yesterday, the Manawatu left-hander shot two bogeys and as many birdies during his round today and is in a share of 21st at one-under for the tournament.
Wilkinson is five shots back from a group of four players, including Australians Oliver Goss and Marc Leishman, who are leading the event at six-under.
Fellow Kiwi Danny Lee missed the cut by two shots after rounds of 73 and 74.
Meanwhile, on the second-tier Web.com Tour, Hamilton's Steven Alker missed the cut by one stroke at the United Leasing Championship in Indiana after rounds of 74 and 72.
