New Zealand golfer Gina Scott earned a share of the first-round lead at the £117,000 ($374,880) La Perla Italian Open in Tuscany.
Scott shot a six-under-par 67 to head the leaderboard with England's Lora Fairclough and Norway's Suzann Pettersen.
Scott fired six birdies in a flawless display and praised the set-up ofthe course.
"I'm really happy with that. I left a couple of putts out there but that's OK, I'm saving them up for the rest of the week," said Scott, 29, of Te Awamutu.
Another New Zealand, Lynnette Brooky, was tied for 25th on one-under 73 while Catherine Knight was well down the field after a 79.
