Kiwi rowing legend Eric Murray has paid tribute to the victims of Friday's mass shootings in Christchurch with a 50-minute 'respect row.'
The two-time Olympic gold medalist filmed himself alongside Hamish Bond doing 50 minutes on a rowing machine as a tribute to each of the 50 victims killed inthe terror attack.
Murray posted the video on Twitter, encouraging everyone to show respect to one another.
"It's a painful thing, something that should never have happened, and something that we never thought might happen in New Zealand," Murray said.

"Let's try and end this hate, let's not think about the bad people that are in this world, let's try and make changes as much as we possibly can.
"It's hard to think about it. We have to move forward and be strong for one another, [do] whatever we can do to help each other along, to be more respectful in life, and just love one another.
"No matter your religious background, your beliefs, your sexual orientation, whatever it is, we're all human beings, so let's act like it
"Let's act like we've got some respect for one another."
