New Zealand cricket allrounder Chris Cairns returns to his home province to be married tomorrow.
Picton-born Cairns and his bride-to-be, Carin van den Berg, will tie the knot at the Old St Mary's Convent outside Blenheim.
The couple's two young children, Thomas and Bram, will attend the ceremony and the guests include
many of his teammates who have played alongside him since his international debut in 1989.
Adam Parore and his partner, television celebrity Sally Ridge, Dion Nash and his wife, former Silver Ferns netball captain Bernice Mene, Jacob Oram, Nathan Astle, Shane Thomson and current New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming are expected to be among a star-studded guest list.
Cairns' test-playing father Lance will also be there as well as several of his relatives from Blenheim plus family and friends from South Africa and Holland where the branches of the van den Berg family are based.
The marriage is the second for Chris Cairns, who married Ruth Leslie in 1997.
