Commonwealth Games: Usain Bolt parties at Gold Coast Sin City nightclub, jumps in DJ booth

Usain Bolt has rocked the Gold Coast nightlife scene on his first night in town, hitting the DJ decks at a popular Surfers Paradise nightclub.

The fastest man in the world wasted no time hitting the clubs after touching down in Australia.

Bolt turned up at Sin City nightclub just before 1am on Thursday, making a surprise headlining performance on the main stage at the popular club.

Flanked by personal security guards, the 31-year-old was escorted through a back entrance and taken to a corner VIP booth where he was served by skimpily clad waitresses wearing bras, panties and suspenders.

He hit the decks about 3am, much to the delight of a packed club who cheered him through his set list.

Bolt congratulated the medallists of the Commonwealth Games before unleashing into a string of pop hits on the decks, rapping along with the songs.

The crowd was chanting "Usain! Usain! Usain!", to which the sport superstar replied: "You mother****ers are awesome."

Sin City is an institution on the Gold Coast, having famously hosted other big name celebrities like Justin Bieber, Amber Heard and Bernard Tomic.

One of the roped-off areas is named The Justin Bieber VIP Booth, and there's also a Charlie Sheen Booth.

Several women were then invited from the crowd to join Bolt.

Trying somewhat to go incognito, Bolt wore a cap — albeit Gucci — a long-sleeved top and jeans.

The club is understood to have gifted him a bottle of Hennessy XO Cognac, his drink of choice.

The club also used speedy smoke machines to sneak him through the dance floor, leaving most patrons none the wiser to the fact the superstar athlete was right in their midst.

Bolt is one cool dude

The man who had the best seat in the house for Bolt's stunning performance on the decks at Sin City nightclub has given the world's fastest man his tick of approval.

DJ "J-Dub" was riding shotgun throughout Bolt's 15-minute set early on Thursday morning and declared that the world's fastest man "killed it".

"He was a super humble dude," J-Dub said.

"He came up and said hey. I just said hey back and asked if he wanted to jump on with me. He was just like, 'yep, sure'.

"I handed him the mic and the rest is as it was.

"He was dope. He worked the crowd. He is a passionate dude. You can see he is passionate about music and he was loving it. In the spotlight, he killed it."

Throughout his set, the 31-year-old spun the decks to superstar artists such as Drake and Usher.

However, the highlight of his performance came when Bolt played a special version of Whoop There It Is, only to have the crowd change the words to, Usain There It Is.

"When I played a show down in Melbourne, Usain jumped on at a venue when I was down there. He put on a show there and it was cool that he did the same thing here," J-Dub said.

"In this job you get to meet a lot of cool people. He is certainly up there as one of the most down to Earth, cool dudes. It was great to be able to vibe out with him and have a fun show."

Many of the stunned crowd spent large portions of the night trying to get photos with the Jamaican.

However, that paled into insignificance when compared to the number of phones whipped out to record his efforts in the DJ booth.

Bolt, who arrived on the Gold Coast on Wednesday, is in Australia as a Commonwealth Games ambassador.
