Boxing: Joseph Parker moves ahead of Wladimir Klitschko in world rankings

New Zealand's Joseph Parker has moved up to third in the WBO heavyweight boxing rankings.

Parker's first round knockout of Daniel Martz last week has seen jump two places, to go ahead of former world champion Wladimir Klitschko and push him ever closer to a world title fight.

The December rankings factored in Parker's first-round demolition of American Daniel Martz, his 15th KO in 17 fights, and Klitschko's loss to Britain's Tyson Fury.

American Charles Martin is the WBO's No 1 contender behind Fury.
