MASTERTON motorcycle ace Mason Wilkie scored four wins and a second to convincingly win his class at the New Zealand miniature TT championships at Kuratau, near Taumaranui, at the weekend. Miniature TT is held on a flat track, rather than the undulating ones used for motocross. Wilkie, 17, riding a Honda, tookout the under-200cc two-stroke and under 300cc four-stroke class, adding yet another addition to a bulging trophy cabinet. He was one of a group of five Wairarapa Motorcycle Club members who made the trip north. Other results were not available at time of going to press.
