A woman collapsed at a strip club while partying with Radio Sport host Tony Veitch.
An ambulance was called to Showgirls at Auckland's Customs St East on March 11 after the woman fell.
According to witnesses, a group of concerned businessmen rushed across to help and one tried to resuscitate her when they thought they couldn't find her pulse. Onlookers said the woman appeared to be in a bad way.
"The woman was attended to by a group of corporate high-flyers celebrating a business deal," one witness said.
An ambulance was called to the club at about 9.15pm and the woman was taken to Auckland City Hospital for checks.
"The incident was quickly attended to because someone had been administering CPR," a spokesman for St John said last night.
"However, it is believed the woman had fallen and banged her head."
