The Wairarapa United seconds have good reason to produce a winning performance in their Capital Soccer third division match with Kapiti Coast at Kapiti tomorrow. Victory would not only mean them retaining third place on the competition table, but it would help erase memories of their first round "game" with KapitiCoast which the latter defaulted without letting Wairarapa United know. "I suppose you could say (Kapiti Coast) are not the flavour of the month as far as we are concerned, so it would be nice to get one over them," Wairarapa United coach Phil Keinzley said. Wairarapa United are expecting tougher opposition though than Kapiti Coast's placing at the bottom of the competition table would suggest as the rules allow them to have up to three players from their premier division side, which has completed their 2006 season, take the field tomorrow. However, Wairarapa United are in the same boat and Keinzley said it was likely that they too would take advantage of that particular ruling. "We are just two points ahead of the fourth placed side so losing tomorrow would probably see us overtaken by them and we don't want that." he said. "So it makes sense to do everything we can to ensure that doesn't happen."
