Two people are dead and four others injured - two critically, including a child - after a crash in Waikato yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Te Kumi Rd on the outskirts of Te Kuiti at 2.12pm.
Three rescue helicopters, from Rotorua, Taupo and Hamilton, attended
the crash as did multiple ambulance, fire and police vehicles.
A Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter spokesman said six people were involved in the crash.
Two people died and four were injured. Two of the injured, an adult and a child, were in a critical condition. Two more were in a serious condition.
