A date has been set for the trial of a man charged in relation to the death of his 2-year-old daughter in Taranaki.
Philip Kinraid appeared in the High Court at New Plymouth today, in relation to the death of Esme Kinraid in Hawera in June.
The nature of the charge he faces has been suppressed.
Kinraid will go on trial, which is set down for two weeks from June 7 next year, but will re-appear in court on February 22 for a pre-trial hearing.
