HEB Construction is a leader in the construction of New Zealand infrastructure. We provide road construction and maintenance, bituminous surfacing, earthworks, drainage, water & waste water, landscaping, bridge construction, piling, marina & wharf construction, precast & pre-stressed concrete & structural steel services to key clients.
We are currently looking to
recruit an experienced driver for the following position:
Transporter Operator - based out of Tauranga.
(Including bulk haulage and DG work)
The successful applicant must have:
• Minimum of 5yrs experience in Transporting of equipment - Tractor unit and Semi
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Mass & Dimension Rule, including permits and travel and load restrictions pertaining to this role
• Full and competent knowledge of load restraint in accordance with "best practice" and the truck loading code
• Minimum class 5 driver's licence with WTR endorsements
• Holds (or is able to obtain) B.E.S.S. and DG endorsements
• Be in a fit and healthy condition.

• Reliability, good timekeeping and pride in their workmanship
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, including related documentation.
• The ability to work unsupervised and to manage truck movements on a day-to-day basis.
• A focus on quality and safety
• Excellent references from within the Transporting or Heavy Haulage Industry
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.
