Niagara is a proudly NZ-owned and operated sawmill and distributer with over 80 years' experience in the business and is a forefront of the sawmilling industry.
Due to ongoing growth of the business Niagara has and an excellent opportunity for an experienced and skilled Timber Machinist to join our team down in Invercargill. The role is busy and diverse and involves the operation and maintenance of Planers, producing dressed and profiled timber to our customers specifications . The successful applicant will ideally have 3-5 years' experience in timber remanufacturing and value added processing and be comfortable in a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will have a proven history with modern Planers and machine set up, be mechanically minded, safety focused, self-motivated with excellent attention to detail. The ability to lead and train others would be advantageous, although not essential.
