A Swiss property investment syndicate has got the go-ahead from the Overseas Investment Office to buy a sheep and beef station near Gisborne for $6.4 million. The deal will add Mangatoto Station, 55km south of Gisborne, to the syndicate's portfolio of rural real estate and took six months to wrap up, says Bayleys in Gisborne.
