Sky TV has confirmed that customers are having "issues" using online streaming service Sky Go to watch the All Blacks vs Samoa game.
"We're aware of some issues with streaming on http://skygo.co.nz . We're working urgently to fix this. We recommend using the SKY GO app," Sky TV New Zealand tweeted.
Users took to social media to express anger, with many saying there were also issues with the app.
Sky TV spokeswoman Kirsty Way said there had been a technical issue identified during the first half.
"We drilled down to that very urgently, as you can imagine," she said.
"We rely on services from a number of third party suppliers. We narrowed the issue down to one supplier and remedied it. We apologise profusely for it."
She said as the service was complimentary, there would be no refund or compensation for unhappy customers.
The main Sky TV feed had no issues, so the service they paid for was not compromised.
"We are apologising and we will continue to keep working to improve stablily," she said.
"It's trying, and it's not great timing."
