Police are still trying to identify a motorcyclist after a hit-and-run crash that killed Rotorua man Paige Johnson.
It’s been four days since police released detailed CCTV footage of the motorcyclist involved in the Edmund Rd incident on Sunday, June 15, but still no arrest has been made.
Johnson,a 24-year-old blind and deaf man, suffered critical injuries after he was hit while crossing an Edmund Rd pedestrian crossing just before 2.15pm.
Paige Johnson, 24, was the victim of a hit-and-run incident on Edmund Rd in Rotorua.
Matthews said it was heartbreaking as her brother was determined to live a normal life despite his disabilities.
Johnson’s family was approached for comment today.
