A Westport man has been named as the rider who was killed when two motorbikes crashed in the South Island yesterday.
Paul James Scott, 46, died after his motorcycle collided with another on Coast Rd, in Barrytown, near Greymouth, around 2am.
A second person was seriously injured.
Police today extended
their sympathies to Scott's family and friends at this difficult time.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
