An alleged teenage armed dairy robber arrested this morning in Christchurch after a police raid has been remanded in custody.
Reuben Banks, 18, was arrested this morning after armed police swooped on several city homes.
He is accused of acting with two others in holding up Kirk Road Dairy in Templeton on Monday, armed with a pistol and a metal bar.
Given that guns were allegedly involved, the Armed Offenders Squad were used in the search warrants today.

Advertise with NZME.Banks, of Linwood, appeared at Christchurch District Court this afternoon.
Judge Tom Gilbert remanded him in custody without plea until September 22.
A 4.30pm, police announced that they have arrested a second 18-year-old alleged to have been involved in the robbery.
He will appear in court tomorrow.
