Restructuring splinters Wellington Fonterra office

Only 32 staff of a possible 150 at the Wellington offices of Fonterra have so far agreed to move north as part of restructuring.

Wellington is to lose 400 jobs from Fonterra subsidiary NZMP, formerly the Dairy Board - about 150 through transfers to Auckland, Palmerston North and Hamilton, and about 250 through redundancies - but at this rate the company may have to recruit staff in Auckland.
