Reds alert for junior rugby

Masterton Red Star trophy winners from the under 10 to under 13 grade.

Jack Loader from the Rams Red under-13s picked up the major award when the Masterton Red Star Rams JAB teams held their end-of-season presentation function.

Loader won the Evan Windleborn Cup for best all-round player while the Buchanan trophy for best achiever went to Ben Renton and the Syd Bubb trophy for best sportsman to Kieran Andrews-Paul.

Club trophy winners were:

MRFC Shield for most points scored in under-6s and under-8s: Kodi Ihaka-Drysdale (23 tries).

Bethall Cup for highest aggregate points from under-9s to under-13s: Rams Red under-13s (571pts).

Hintz Family Trophy for hard luck award: Quin Riddell.

Long service trophy: Brodie Semmens and Chad Coley.

Bethall Shield for team sportsmanship: Rams White Under-8s.

Football Box for best all-round team: Reds under-13s.

McLean trophy for runners-up best all-round team: Rams under-10s.

Buchanan Trophy for best achiever: Ben Renton.

Syd Bubb Trophy for best sportsman: Kieran Andrews-Paul.

Evan Windleborn Cup for best all-round player: Jack Loader.
